Preparation
- Drain and rinse the jackfruit. Remove the core and seeds, then shred the jackfruit into wing-sized pieces.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until translucent.
- Add shredded jackfruit, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Pour in BBQ sauce and mix well. Let it simmer for another 10 minutes until heated through.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Spread the jackfruit mixture on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until crispy.
Serving
- Serve warm with vegan ranch dressing and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
