Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, instant yeast, and salt.
- Add olive oil and warm water; mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
Baking
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Punch down the dough and divide it into small pieces. Roll each piece into a knot shape.
- Place knots on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, and parsley. Brush this mixture over the knots.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with your favorite pasta or sauce.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Can freeze for up to three months; reheat in the oven at 350°F until warm.
