Ingredients
  

Dough Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup warm water Ensure the water is warm but not hot.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
Garlic Topping
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegan butter
  • to taste Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix together the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add the warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients and knead until the dough is smooth.
  3. Cover the bowl with a cloth and let the dough rise for 1 hour in a warm place until it doubles in size.
Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Divide the risen dough into small balls and shape each one into a knot.
  3. Place the knots on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the knots are golden brown.
  5. In a pan, melt the vegan butter and sauté the minced garlic until it becomes fragrant.
  6. Brush the garlic mixture over the warm knots and garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

To keep your Garlic Knots fresh, store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days. They can also be refrigerated for up to a week or frozen for up to a month. Reheat in the oven before serving for the best texture. Feel free to adjust the amount of garlic based on your taste preference.
