Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine the almond milk, vegetable oil, apple cider vinegar, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Baking
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool before serving.
Notes
Serve with vegan chocolate ganache, dairy-free whipped cream, or sprinkle with chopped nuts. Store leftovers in an airtight container; lasts 3-4 days in the fridge or up to 3 months in the freezer.
