  • 1 pound strawberries, sliced Use fresh strawberries for best flavor.
  • 8 ounces mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream Make sure to whip until fluffy.
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled Use your favorite brew for a personal touch.
  • 24 pieces ladyfinger cookies Traditional choice; can substitute with sponge cake or graham crackers.
  • to taste Cocoa powder for dusting

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Whip until light and fluffy.
  2. In a shallow dish, dip each ladyfinger in the cooled coffee briefly and layer them in a serving dish.
  3. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, then layer with half of the sliced strawberries.
  4. Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, and strawberries.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
  6. Before serving, dust with cocoa powder and enjoy!

Notes

Serve in individual dessert cups or family-style. Garnish with fresh strawberries or mint for added color. The longer it chills, the better the flavor!
