Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound steak (such as sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 medium zucchinis, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Optional Garnishes
  • grated Parmesan cheese for serving
  • fresh herbs (like parsley or basil) for garnish

Method

Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the steak pieces and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked to your liking, about 4-5 minutes.
  3. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the sliced zucchini and garlic. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the zucchini is tender.
  5. Return the steak to the skillet and stir to combine, cooking for another minute to heat through.
  6. Serve hot, optionally garnished with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh herbs.

Notes

For best results, cut the zucchini evenly for uniform cooking. Experiment with spices like smoked paprika for added flavor. Use leftover steak to clean out the fridge!
