Preparation
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning.
Cooking

  2. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook until they are pink and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and mushrooms; sauté until soft.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and let it thicken slightly.
  6. Add the cooked pasta and shrimp to the skillet; toss to coat.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with parsley.

Timing is key: Ensure shrimp are just cooked. Use fettuccine for the best texture. Adjust Cajun seasoning for more spice. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for 3 days in the fridge or frozen for up to a month.
