Ingredients
  

For the beef patties
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
For assembly
  • 8 small taco-sized tortillas
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Lettuce, shredded
  • Tomato, diced
  • Pickles, sliced
  • Burger sauce or mayo, for drizzling

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form the meat into small balls.
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and smash the balls down to create patties.
  2. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked through.
Assembly
  1. Warm the tortillas in a separate skillet.
  2. Assemble the tacos by placing a smash burger patty on each tortilla, then adding cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and a drizzle of burger sauce.
  3. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Smash Burger Tacos!

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for about 2 days. Keep components separate to prevent sogginess. Warm patties and tortillas when ready to eat.
