Ingredients
  

For the crackers
  • 200 g red lentils Grind into fine flour
  • ¾ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons sunflower seeds
  • 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 35 ml olive oil

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 180 °C (356 °F) with the fan on.
  2. Grind the red lentils into fine flour using a mixer.
  3. In a bowl, mix the lentil flour with the dry ingredients: baking powder, garlic powder, rosemary, paprika, and salt.
  4. Add the olive oil and 100 ml of water to the mixture, stirring until you form a thick dough.
  5. Place the dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Lay another piece of parchment paper on top and roll out the dough evenly with a rolling pin.
  6. Remove the top layer of parchment paper. Cut the dough into your desired shape using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
Baking
  1. Bake in the middle of the oven for 25-30 minutes until crispy.
  2. Let them cool completely before enjoying.

Notes

To store, keep your Red Lentil Crackers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. You can freeze them for up to a month, just thaw at room temperature before serving. For extra flavor, experiment with different herbs and spices.
