Preparation
- Press the tofu to remove excess moisture and crumble it into a bowl.
- Add nutritional yeast, turmeric, salt, and pepper to the crumbled tofu and mix well.
Cooking
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Sauté the onion and bell pepper until softened, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add the tofu mixture to the pan and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through.
- Serve with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
Leftovers keep well in the fridge for about 3-5 days. Can freeze for up to a month. Reheat in a skillet or microwave without making it rubbery.
