  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water (110°F)
  • 3 1/2 to 4 cups all-purpose flour Use up to 4 cups if needed due to stickiness.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Infuse with garlic and herbs for variation.
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 3 1/2 cups flour and salt.
  3. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour.
  4. Stir until a dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for about 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
  7. Roll out the dough on a floured surface, shape for your pizza, and add your toppings.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden. Enjoy your pizza night!

Notes

If there's any dough left, you can keep it in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month. Reheat in the oven for freshness.
