Ingredients
  

For the crust
  • 1.5 cups 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 0.5 cups ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
For the cheesecake filling
  • 2 cups 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cups 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large 3 large eggs
  • 1 cups 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cups ½ cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 Zest of 1 orange

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
Cheesecake Filling
  1. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  2. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  3. Stir in sour cream, vanilla, orange juice, and orange zest.
  4. Pour the batter over the crust in the springform pan.
Baking
  1. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until set.
  2. Let cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

Don't rush the cooling time! This cheesecake needs to chill out in the fridge for that perfectly smooth slice. For more flavor, consider adding additional orange zest or swapping sour cream for Greek yogurt.
