  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (optional) can substitute with cream of chicken soup or homemade white sauce

Method

  4. If using, stir in the cream of mushroom soup to add creaminess.
Baking
  1. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and cover with foil.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
  3. Remove the foil during the last 10 minutes of baking to allow the cheese to become golden and bubbling.
Serving
  1. Serve warm and enjoy your comforting meal!

Notes

This casserole can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days or frozen for up to three months. A splash of milk while reheating can restore the creamy texture. Pro tip: Let it cool for a few minutes after baking to avoid cheese lava surprises!
