Preparation
- In a bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the almond milk, coconut sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring until a dough forms.
Cooking
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll the dough into small balls and lightly spray with coconut oil.
- Place in the air fryer basket, making sure not to overcrowd.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, until golden brown.
- In a bowl, mix cinnamon and sugar.
- Remove churro bites from the air fryer and toss in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Store any leftover churro bites in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days. They can also be refrigerated for up to a week. Reheat in the air fryer for the best taste.
