Meatloaf Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef You can substitute with ground turkey for a lighter option.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Panko breadcrumbs can be used for extra crunch.
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup milk Essential for moisture.
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Topping
  • 1/2 cup ketchup For topping the meatloaf.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped onion, milk, egg, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased baking dish.
  4. Spread ketchup over the top of the meatloaf.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  2. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3 to 4 days in the fridge or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
