  • 2 cans 14.5 oz each cut green beans, drained
  • 1 can 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1.5 cups crispy french-fried onions
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, and three-quarters of the Parmesan cheese.
  3. Stir everything until well mixed, then season with black pepper.
  4. Pour the mixture into a medium-sized baking dish.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes until the base is hot and bubbling.
  6. Carefully remove the dish from the oven and evenly sprinkle the crispy fried onions and the remaining Parmesan cheese over the top.
  7. Return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-5 days or freeze them for future use. Reheat in the oven for best results. For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes or fresh green beans.
