Ingredients
  

Pasta and Shrimp
  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
Sauce
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Method
 

Cooking the Pasta and Shrimp
  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink.
Preparing the Sauce
  1. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, then bring to a simmer.
  2. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  3. Add cooked spaghetti to the sauce; toss to coat.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Don't overcook the shrimp! Use fresh ingredients when possible. Adjust red pepper flakes for desired heat level. This dish can be served with a side salad or garlic bread.
