Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 2 cups cooked rice Use your preferred rice.
  • 1 each bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 each carrot, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions, chopped for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook rice according to package instructions.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Season steak with salt and pepper, and cook in the skillet for about 3-5 minutes on each side until desired doneness. Remove from skillet and let rest.
Cooking
  1. In the same skillet, add bell pepper, broccoli, and carrots. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  2. Slice the steak and add it back to the skillet along with soy sauce, stirring to combine.
Serving
  1. Serve the steak and veggies over rice and garnish with green onions.
