- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with plant-based milk, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each tofu slice first in flour, then in plant-based milk, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture, making sure to coat evenly.
Baking
- Place the breaded tofu slices on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until crispy and golden.
- In a baking dish, layer marinara sauce, then add the baked tofu, and top with dairy-free cheese shreds.
- Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted.
Serving
- Serve the crispy tofu parm on your choice of bread, garnished with fresh basil.
Notes
Store leftovers separately in airtight containers. Keep crispy tofu in the fridge for up to 3 days. If assembled, consume within a day for best texture.
