  • 1 cup cottage cheese Use full-fat or low-fat based on preference.
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour Can substitute with a gluten-free flour if needed.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder Adjust to taste.
  • Salt to taste Add according to preference.
  • Pepper to taste Freshly ground is recommended.
  • Oil for frying Use a neutral oil suitable for frying.

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  2. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Cooking
  1. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture into the hot oil, flattening slightly with a spatula.
  2. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  3. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Serving
  1. Serve warm as a snack, or at room temperature with your favorite dips.

Notes

To store leftovers, keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days. Re-crisp in the oven if needed. Consider experimenting with different seasonings for added flavor.
