  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta Cook according to package instructions.
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined Fresh or thawed frozen shrimp.
Cream Sauce Ingredients
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Adds flavor to the sauce.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can be substituted with half-and-half for a lighter option.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Adds richness to the dish.
  • 2 tablespoons butter Used for sautéing garlic and shrimp.
Seasoning and Garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste Adjust according to preference.
  • Fresh parsley for garnish Chopped for topping.

Method
 

Cooking the Pasta
  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions; drain and set aside.
Making the Sauce
  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Reduce the heat to low, then pour in the heavy cream and stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat.
  6. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
Serving
  1. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Perfect to serve with a side salad or garlic bread. Can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to a month. Reheat gently with a splash of water or cream.
