Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless (skinless) chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning
  • 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • 4 oz cream cheese should be softened for maximum creaminess

  • 1/4 cup sour cream optional
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese optional
  • to taste Fresh parsley for garnish optional

Method
 

Cooking
  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of your crock pot.
  2. Sprinkle ranch seasoning over the chicken.
  3. Pour the cream of chicken soup over the top, then add cream cheese in dollops.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
  5. Shred the chicken with two forks directly in the crock pot.
  6. Stir in sour cream and cheddar cheese (if using). Let it warm through for 5–10 more minutes.
  7. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

You can store leftovers in the fridge for about 3–4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat with a splash of chicken broth for extra moisture. For a twist, add diced veggies.
