  • 2 tbsp natural peanut butter Can be replaced with almond butter
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup Agave syrup is a vegan option
  • 30 g ground flaxseed Can be replaced with chia seeds
  • 50 g mini chocolate chips Dark chocolate is healthier
  • 50 g shredded coconut Optional
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract Enhances flavor
  • 1 pinch salt Balances sweetness

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the cottage cheese and oats.
  2. Add the natural peanut butter and mix well until creamy.
  3. Add honey or maple syrup, ground flaxseed, chocolate chips, shredded coconut, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until everything is evenly mixed.
  4. Use your hands to shape the mixture into small balls, about 2-3 cm in diameter.
  5. Place the balls on a baking sheet or plate lined with parchment paper.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to set.

Notes

Store the protein balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They will stay fresh for up to one week. If you want them to last longer, you can freeze them for up to three months.
