  • 1 cup whole milk small curd cottage cheese (4% milkfat, high protein)
Optional Seasonings
  • Seasonings of your choice e.g., paprika, garlic powder, cumin
  • Parmesan cheese optional for extra flavor

Method
 

Oven Method
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Spread the cottage cheese evenly onto the baking sheet.
  4. Add your favorite seasonings and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese if you like.
  5. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the edges start to brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool before breaking into chips.
Microwave Method
  1. Place small dollops of cottage cheese on a microwave-safe plate lined with parchment paper.
  2. Flatten each dollop slightly to create chip shapes.
  3. Sprinkle with seasonings and Parmesan if desired.
  4. Microwave on high for about 3-5 minutes, checking regularly until they are crispy.
  5. Let cool before serving.

Notes

Store any leftover chips in an airtight container at room temperature. They are best enjoyed fresh but can last for a few days. If they soften, you can re-crisp them in the oven or microwave. Try adding cinnamon and a touch of sweetener for a sweet version of the chips.
