Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a tube pan.
- In a large bowl, sift together the flour, granulated sugar, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the aquafaba and cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the aquafaba mixture into the dry ingredients, then add the vanilla and almond extracts.
- Pour the batter into the prepared tube pan and smooth the top.
Baking
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool completely before removing from the pan.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
For a twist, consider adding lemon zest or chocolate chips. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze wrapped well for longer storage.
