  • 3 cups chicken broth Homemade broth adds extra flavor.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Substitute with plant-based cream for a vegan option.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add diced chicken and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until chicken is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add broccoli and cook for another 3-4 minutes until tender.
Cooking
  1. Stir in the orzo and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce heat.
  2. Simmer for about 10 minutes, or until orzo is cooked al dente.
  3. Stir in the heavy cream and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
Serving
  1. Serve warm, topped with Parmesan cheese.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days. For longer storage, freeze for up to a month. Reheat with a splash of broth or cream to maintain creaminess.
