Ingredients
  

For the crust
  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 0.25 cups sugar
  • 0.5 cups unsalted butter, melted
For the filling
  • 4 packages cream cheese, softened (8 oz each)
  • 1.25 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
Making the Filling
  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Gradually add 1 1/4 cups sugar and vanilla, mixing until combined.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 55-60 minutes, or until the center is set and only slightly jiggly.
  2. Remove from the oven and let cool.
  3. Once cool, spread sour cream over the top and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

To enhance your cheesecake, serve it with fresh berries, a drizzle of chocolate or caramel sauce, or whipped cream.
Tips: Soften your cream cheese for better mixing, don’t rush the cooling process, and chill well for optimal flavor melding.
