Preparation
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions.
- In the last 3 minutes of cooking, add broccoli to the pasta water.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in chickpeas and cooked pasta, along with the broccoli.
- Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Toss everything together and remove from heat.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Leftover pasta can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. It can also be frozen for about a month.
