  • 1 cup sugar Divided into two parts.
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk Use almond or oat milk for a vegan option.
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted Can substitute with coconut oil for a vegan option.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the blackberries with 1/2 cup of sugar and set aside.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and the remaining sugar.
  4. Stir in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and top it with the blackberries.
Baking
  1. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until your cobbler is golden brown and bubbly.
  2. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream or drizzle caramel sauce over the top for an extra decadent touch. Cover with plastic wrap or foil to keep it fresh for 3-4 days in the fridge.
