  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt for seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp pepper for seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for cooking
Toppings and Vegetables
  • 1 cup lettuce, chopped for base layer
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup pickles, sliced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, sliced
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice) for topping
  • 2 tbsp burger sauce or mayonnaise for drizzling

Method
 

Cooking the Beef
  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
  2. Form the ground beef into patties and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until cooked to your liking.
Assembling the Bowl
  1. In a bowl, layer the chopped lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and red onion.
  2. Place the cooked burger patties on top of the vegetables.
  3. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the patties.
  4. Drizzle with burger sauce or mayonnaise.
