Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and fit it into a pie dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add cheese, diced vegetables, and cooked meat (if using) to the mixture.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust.
Baking
  1. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the filling is set and the top is golden color.
  2. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Consider a pre-baked crust for a crispy bottom. Use fresh herbs for enhanced flavor. You can experiment with various fillings and add nutmeg for a nostalgic flavor kick. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3-4 days, or freeze for 2-3 months.
