Preparation
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
- In a separate bowl, combine melted butter, milk, and eggs, then add to the dry ingredients.
- Mash the ripe bananas and fold them into the dough.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth, then let it rise for 1 hour.
Rolling and Baking
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread with brown sugar, cinnamon, and more melted butter, then roll it up tightly.
- Cut into rolls and place in a greased baking dish.
- Let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
Frosting
- For the frosting, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread frosting over warm rolls and enjoy!
Notes
These rolls can be served warm and are excellent with whipped cream or fresh fruit salad. Store in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
