  • 8 slices Sliced cheese (e.g., Swiss or cheddar) Choose your favorite cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Butter (for brushing) Melted
  • 1 large Egg (for egg wash)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the croissant dough and place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on each piece.
  3. Roll the dough around the ham and cheese to form croissants.
  4. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Brush the tops with melted butter and egg wash.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve with a zesty dipping sauce like honey mustard or garlic aioli. These croissants can also be paired with soup or salad. They can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
